Not like the appstore is flooded with twitter clients already, but for whatever reason the acclaimed folks at Tapbots have been grinding away at what seems the longest time ever (and ironically not long after twitter themselves denounced releasing new Twitter clients) to bring us a new Twitter client you guessed it, named Tweetbot.
The app is probably great, arn’t all of Tapbots apps great? But will it be great enough to get users to make the switch from the whatever twitter client they already use?
Based on the frenzy twitter users are getting themselves into as Tweetbot slowly appears in various appstores (currently Japan and New Zealand). Tweetbot is going to be a sure fire hit. I personally can’t wait to read more marketing tweets and telling the world of which quite frankly nobody cares what the hell I just ate, when I’m about to sleep or what I thought of the last episode of Hollyoaks all laid out in a brand new sexy interface.
