One of the problems I struggle with the most is getting information quickly from my Mac to my iPhone and vice-versa. I have tried a few solutions. but none are particularly eloquent or efficient when you just want to send a piece of copied text or a url.

I also try to limit the amount of “crap” I have running on my Mac especially in the menu bar. But I do love & use http://getcloudapp.com for sharing stuff online and with colleagues so I was stoked to see a new iOS app called Stratus released. Not only is Stratus free it’s extremely well laid out. Somehow manages to include not just all the features of the Mac App but also includes features that were only accessible via the web app such as deleting uploads.

The default Stratus view shows all uploads with an icon on the left to indicate the upload type, ordered by upload date. To the right of the name it shows how many times each upload has been viewed. Selecting an upload will load it within the app be it a picture, url or document. You can then copy the url, or delete the upload.

You can also upload from the app back. I found some quirks when trying to upload a couple of images but I imagine this will be remedied in a later update. 5/5 for design and useability.
