I will probably get boo’d and hiss’d for this but I have a hard time trusting my iPhone and the various clock/alarm apps I have in waking me up. Having owned Nokias for years users will know the alarm just works. Even if you turned the phone off the alarm still worked.

The same can’t be said for the iPhone and the various clock/alarm apps. I have tried many and only return to one that is Night Stand HD, so far it’s the most accurate and hasn’t yet let me down. It has the best looking interface without being a chore to navigate, multiple and extensive alarm options, some awesome clock designs and my favourite waking up to the sounds of birds chirping.

It’s also a universal app and works well on both iPhones and iPad.
