Ever fancied yourself as an air drummer? Well you’re in luck Hoopla has you covered! John the developer has been creating music apps for a while mostly catering to those with a bit of musical knowledge as the apps are quite technical.

John decided to take Hoopla back to basics making hoopla a great and fun intro to the world of air drumming. Hoopla offers a host of cool sounds and effects that can be assigned to 3 different directions so that when you shake your iPhone either to the left right or forwards the chosen drum or sound effect plays.

You can also play music from your own iPhone/iPod and air drum along to your favourite songs. You can change and reassign any of the sounds really quickly & see on screen the choices you can also save your favourite combinations and re load them later. Or you can share your awesome sound combination to twitter or via email.

Once you get into it it’s addictive, without realising it I quickly entered the ‘zone’ and was shaking my iPhone around to the beat of my music quite wildly and while I felt like I could start doing this professionally I’m pretty sure if anyone had witnessed it they would of been horrified and possibly presumed I was possessed by.. something.
