Thanks for everyone’s continued support developers and readers for your patience. We’re proud to (finally) release a refreshing new look to App Crunch. Its been in the making for a while and there are still some bugs and tweaks to carry out but we’re ready to push it live.

You will be pleased to know most of our focus will be back on creating original content and reviews of what we consider to be the best needles in the giant haystack that has become the Apple App Store(s).

Not only have we pushed out a new look we have made a considerable amount of changes that will allow us to branch out. For the previous two years App Crunch has focused primarily on iPhone/iPod Touch apps. Due to the convoluted nature of our previous design it was incredibly difficult to expand this to include iPad apps as we hoped to do.

Not only is there a new category for the most popular tablet on the market but were also opening a new section for Mac App Store Apps! This is an area we feel is extremely under valued on most Mac related sites.

Due to the lack of demoing a lot of MAS only apps (unless the dev provides one specifically) it’s very hard to find reviews that cover them, we really hope we can help fill this void by continuing with our original ideals of only listing the best.

There are a lot of gems buried among the dirt we plan to un earth them (cheesy much – Ed.).

The last new category we are introducing is for app deals. These will cover various app sales covering all the App Stores and the occasional external bundle.

All our information will be curated on the front page you can then use the menu to narrow down your preferences of what your interested in reading.
